The Masters of Engineering Management program at The University of Ottawa has an exceptional quality and reputation. This can be observed with the breadth and diversity of its professors. The professors were leaders in their fields from both the public and private sector. They provided an experiential learning approach which gave me a unique learning perspective that I was able to utilize immediately at my workplace.
I was also impressed by the combination of business and engineering courses offered and how they complement each other. I gained tremendous knowledge in many aspects of business and management. The course offerings are diverse and cover subjects that include: project management, commercial engineering, negotiation, accounting and finance, human resources, business strategy and innovation. The learning environment was intimate, challenging, fun and promotes critical thinking. It also gave me the opportunity to build meaningful, lifelong relationships with a group of like-minded professionals.
