Associate Director, EMHA program

Karen holds an MSW degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a graduate of the Telfer EMBA program. As Associate Director of the Executive MHA program, Karen brings extensive experience as a healthcare administrator, leader and educator. She has been employed nationally and internationally in the areas of pediatric and adult inpatient and outpatient healthcare, in mental health programs, within school settings and in the correctional system. From 2015-2020 Karen held the position of Executive Director at Stanford Healthcare in Palo Alto California. She has taught in the MSW programs at the University of Calgary and Carleton University and more recently in the MHA program at the University of Ottawa.
